This policy explains what 411 Cars collects when you use 411cars.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. In short: we collect what you tell us about the car you want and how to reach you, and we share it with up to 3 participating dealerships so they can contact you. Dealerships pay us for that.
Who we are
411 Cars operates 411cars.com, a free service that connects people shopping for a car with dealerships in South Florida. We are not a car dealer and we are not a lender. You can reach us at hello@411cars.com or 1(800)411-CARS.
What we collect
What you tell us: your name, mobile number, email and ZIP code, the language you use on the site, and anything you choose to add about the vehicle you want.
What we record automatically: your IP address, browser type, the page you were on, how you arrived (for example, from an ad or a search), and the time of your request.
Your consent: when you agree to be contacted, we keep a record of the exact wording you saw, the time, your IP address and your browser, so we can show that you agreed.
We do not run credit checks, and we never ask for your Social Security number, date of birth or bank details.
How we use it
To match you with dealerships that sell what you're looking for, and to share your request with them.
To contact you about your request.
To detect and block spam and fraudulent requests.
To keep a record of your consent to be contacted.
To understand which ads and pages bring people to 411 Cars.
Who we share it with
Participating dealerships. We share your request and contact details with up to 3 dealerships that sell the kind of vehicle you asked for, so they can contact you. Dealerships pay 411 Cars for this. Once a dealership has your information, its own privacy policy also governs how it uses it. The dealerships we work with are listed at the end of this page.
Service providers who help us run the site — hosting, database and email — only as needed to provide those services.
Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We don't share your request with anyone else for their own marketing.
Your choices
Texts: reply STOP to any text message from us or a dealership.
Calls: tell the caller you'd like them to stop, or contact us.
Your information: email hello@411cars.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We may keep the consent record where the law allows, so that we can show you agreed to be contacted.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as it's useful for connecting you with dealerships and for our business records. We keep consent records for several years, because we may need to show that you agreed to be contacted.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
411 Cars is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
